Britney Spears**' apparent walk-off during her first day on the set of The X Factor yesterday was only a short break, a representative for the singer has told Rolling Stone. "There was nothing wrong, she wasn't upset – she just asked if she could take a short break and that's all it was," says the representative. "People are just trying to make more of this than what it really is."

According to Spears' spokesperson, the singer only missed auditions by four contestants near the end of the shoot. "It's not uncommon that people take these breaks," the spokesperson said, noting that top judge Simon Cowell has been known to miss audition tapings and often takes cigarette breaks during shoots.
